Mayor Churchill

  • NAME: Mayor William Churchill
  • CULTURE: British (English)
  • AGE: 34
  • BIO: Churchill came to New York as a child, the only son of English merchants. When he was a young man his parents sought to buy land of their own far out West in California. His family set out, but on the long trek he and his mother fell gravely ill – along with others in their wagon train. The pioneers were forced to halt at the border of Nebraska, and formed a small community of log homes. It was weeks before he and his mother were healthy enough to continue moving, but by then his family was too poor to afford supplies for the remainder of their intended trip.  His father eventually abandoned the dream of striking it rich in California and the family became farmers. One day Churchill decided to help his father achieve his dreams by joining a gold rush to the north, traveling alone to a settlement called Snake’s Bend. There he made a meager living as a merchant, shipping what revenue he could back home. Over time he became so respected by the community that he was appointed Mayor, where he currently strives to bridge the tumultuous gap between settlers and Natives that threatens to plunge the region into chaos.

Churchill is young and well-respected, but doesn’t consider himself a politician. He is renowned for his generosity and level head, and loves welcoming visitors to Snake’s Bend personally whenever possible.
